Capturing the beauty amongst the mundane.
I was present as the unofficial photographer along with another photographer at this event and once more I have experienced what an unpleasant event anything can become when there are competitive untalanted people present. I could not believe this guy with his huge camera, huge flash + reflection card setup… First, he followed my steps, which was not flattering but rather annoying. Then, during a little presentation given by the organizers, he picked the most advantageous side – I didn’t mind, I took the other side. Mid-way though the speech, when the speaker started handing out gratitude certificates to attendees, it turned out that I was capturing the hand-to-hand transfer while the other guy was not. He simply walked over to me and stood in front of me. Yeah, not a very pleasant experience.
