You probably would have never guessed, but this is a street light. The image was taken over the top of the light. I love the imperfection of this image because, like all man-made it has uniqueness. I think this is the real gift of humanity, what distinguishes us from machines, routines and protocols – we are genuine. Everybody has 2 eyes, 1 nose, 1 mouth, 2 ears and some have hair – but how many of us would confuse two different unrelated people. And of those how many would be just in their arguments? All that to say that I find this picture very pretty.
